Women's ministry

Welcome to our vibrant community where we strive to glorify God, unite in devotion to Jesus Christ, and develop responsibility through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. At Newkirk Reformed, we believe in fostering a deep sense of faith, community, and service.

Our Mission:

To seek God's glory by uniting ourselves in the discipleship of Jesus Christ and nurturing responsibility through the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit.

As an integral part of our mission, we gather as an executive team twice a year, in January and August, to plan and envision the path ahead. This allows us to ensure that our activities and initiatives align with our commitment to serving our community and glorifying God.

Throughout the year, we organize a diverse range of events and activities that cater to the needs and interests of our community members. Whether it's the reflective season of Lent, where we come together over coffee to share stories and support one another, or our lively Ladies' Night Out, there's something for everyone to enjoy and participate in.

Prayer, devotion, and sharing a meal together are at the heart of our gatherings. We recognize the importance of nurturing our spiritual well-being and fostering a sense of belonging. With this in mind, we come together once a month to engage in prayer, devotional sessions, and enjoy delicious food as a community.

Mark your calendars for our recurring events:

  • Golden Hour: Join us every second Monday of the month at 7 pm for our Golden Hour gathering. This special time is devoted to deepening our faith through inspirational talks, shared experiences, and fellowship.
  • Love Circle: Experience the power of love and connection during our Love Circle meetings, held on the second Monday of each month at 7 pm. It's an opportunity to build meaningful relationships and support one another on our spiritual journeys.
  • Mission Fellowship: Every second Wednesday of the month at 1:30 pm, we gather for our Mission Fellowship, where we discuss and engage in various service projects aimed at meeting the needs of our community. Together, we make a difference.

Additionally, we have dedicated work groups that come together to support important church events, such as funerals, soup suppers, and other special occasions. These work groups provide an opportunity to serve others while fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. We invite you to join us on this enriching journey of faith, growth, and service. Together, let's glorify God, unite as disciples of Jesus Christ, and empower one another through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We look forward to welcoming you into our loving community at Newkirk Reformed.
